Using the client's 'Bill of Materials' or Components Database, Enventure supplies compliance information by consolidating material declarations & certificates of compliance from the component manufacturers. In this way Enventure bridges the gap between the component supplier and the client.
The component buyer at the OEM or EMS or the distributor often does not have the time to do the data collection, since the data is not always easily available Some component manufacturers have hazmat data available in a structured format and the information is readily available; but many of the component manufacturers have limited or no data available and provide the information only on request from a buyer/customer.
Using Enventure to outsource the data collection provides a fast and effective way for companies to obtain the necessary data without tying up valuable resources. Enventure provide a 'pay as you use' service so costs are kept low.
Enventure provides certain standard service packages for RoHS compliance. These are highly customisable, to add of remove any parameters, based on the customer's priorities.

Enventure's RoHS Compliance Solutions

Enventure offers three different levels of RoHS analysis - RoHS Basic, RoHS Plus and Green Basic. The data collection, aggregation and presentation is done as per the approved EU templates. Enventure can also do data gathering according to the recently released IPC 1752 material declaration standards.

RoHS BASIC
This service is designed to meet the immediate needs of Designers/ Component Engineers as well as in preliminary assessment of extent of RoHS compliance of a BoM.
RoHS Yes/ No status
RoHS compliant alternate from the same manufacturer, if input Part number is not RoHS compliant
Indicate Part Number change and availability date if known.

RoHS PLUS
This service is designed to take care of basic documentation requirements of RoHS and is needed in the medium term to fully comply with RoHS, particularly where customers are located in Europe.
Same as 'RoHS Basic' plus the presence above threshold Yes/No, Mass, PPM and application/location

GREEN BASIC
This service is intended to generally meet WEEE regulations in terms of 'materials/substances of interest' (recycling), and exceed RoHS in terms of other Hazardous substances.
Same as 'RoHS Plus' plus collecting material declaration as per EIA/JIG formats - level A & B materials


Other service levels can be custom developed, based on the parameters required and the template in which the client would like the data collected.
